Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and ClassTech Development ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of TicketAssist AI, the Discord bot and the website at ticketassistai.io (together the "Service"). By adding the bot to a server, using it, or using the website or dashboard, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
- You must meet Discord's minimum age (13 in the UK, or older where local law requires) and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- To add the bot to a server or manage it on the dashboard, you must have permission to manage that server. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these Terms for it.
2. Server owners' responsibilities
If you add TicketAssist AI to a server, you decide how it's used there, and you are responsible for:
- Telling your members that the server uses an AI support bot that reads and stores ticket messages (and messages in any open AI support channel), and pointing them to our Privacy Policy, for example in your rules or ticket welcome message.
- Having a lawful basis under the data protection laws that apply to you for the information your members share in your server, and for asking members to share it.
- Choosing permissions: the bot can only see channels its role can view. Give it access only to the channels it needs.
- Not using the Service for sensitive information (such as health data, payment card numbers, passwords or government ID numbers) unless you have a lawful reason and appropriate safeguards.
- Your knowledgebase and settings, including making sure your articles are accurate and that you have the right to use their content.
- Your staff and community, including how your team uses tickets, transcripts and the dashboard.
For information the bot handles in your server, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf under these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We'll only use it to provide, secure and improve the Service, follow your settings, and meet legal obligations.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of your knowledgebase articles, settings and the messages sent in your server ("Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service. This includes sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers. The licence ends when the Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies we must keep by law or in backups that expire.
4. AI output
- Replies, summaries and other output are generated automatically by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are not professional (legal, financial, medical or other) advice.
- Server owners are responsible for reviewing how the AI is used in their community and for any decisions made from its output. Staff can take over any ticket at any time.
- We aren't responsible for actions taken, or not taken, because of AI output.
5. Plans, billing, renewal and cancellation
- Plans, prices, limits and features are listed on the pricing page. Paid plans are bought on the dashboard, apply to one Discord server unless stated, and are billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
- Monthly or yearly: paid plans can be billed monthly, or yearly in advance at the yearly price shown (equal to ten months, so two months are free). Yearly plans renew every year.
- Renewal: plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal.
- Changing plan: upgrades and downgrades apply straight away. The price difference is prorated on your next invoice.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from the server's Billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then the server returns to the Free plan.
- Refunds: except where the law gives you a right to one, payments are non-refundable, including for partial months and unused AI messages. If you're a consumer in the UK, you have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription. Because the Service starts as soon as you subscribe, if you cancel within those 14 days we may deduct an amount for the service already provided. To ask for a refund, contact us through our contact page.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, we may move the server to the Free plan until payment succeeds.
- Price changes: we may change prices with at least 14 days' notice. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may lead to the account and server being suspended while we investigate.
- Allowances (such as monthly AI messages) reset each month and don't roll over, including on yearly plans.
- AI message top-ups are one-off purchases for one server. Top-up messages are used after the monthly allowance runs out, don't expire while the Service operates, can't be moved to another server and have no cash value. Because they're added straight away, they're non-refundable once used, except where the law says otherwise.
6. Free trial
Each server can claim one free 7-day Pro trial from the dashboard. No payment method is required, and the server returns to its highest active paid plan, or Free, when the trial ends.
7. Rewards
Rewards are free promotions. No purchase is necessary, prizes have no cash value unless stated, and we may change, pause or end any of them at any time.
Referrals
- Each dashboard account has a referral link. A person who signs in to the dashboard for the first time after opening your link is referred by you.
- When a server they buy a paid plan for makes its first successful payment, you earn one free month (30 days) of Pro for a Discord server you manage that has TicketAssist AI added. You choose the server on the Rewards page. One reward per referred server.
- Referring yourself, using extra or fake accounts, or getting rewards through refunds, chargebacks or other abuse doesn't count, and we may remove rewards (and Pro time) gained this way.
- Referral Pro time stacks with other reward time, can't be moved once used and has no cash value. We may change or end the referral programme at any time; rewards already earned stay available to claim for at least 30 days.
Vote rewards
- Each vote for TicketAssist AI on a listing site we support (such as Top.gg or DiscordForge) gives the voting Discord account one bonus spin. Votes that the listing site counts double, such as Top.gg weekend votes, give two.
- Bonus spins are used in the dashboard for a Discord server you manage that has TicketAssist AI added. Every bonus spin wins a prize picked at random: free Pro plan time for servers on Free or Starter, or bonus AI messages for servers on Pro or higher.
- Bonus AI messages are used only after the server's monthly allowance runs out, and they don't expire. Pro time starts straight away and stacks with other reward time.
- Prizes can't be moved to another server and have no cash value. Voting is free and no purchase is necessary.
- Votes must follow each listing site's rules. Votes made with multiple accounts, automation or other abuse don't count, and we may remove prizes won through them.
- We may change, pause or end vote rewards at any time.
Daily Reward
- The Daily Reward wheel is available all year, using UTC days. No purchase is necessary to take part.
- To take part you must be signed in to the dashboard and manage at least one Discord server that has TicketAssist AI added.
- Each Discord account can spin once per day, and each server can receive one spin per day. Using multiple accounts, automation or any other way of getting around these limits disqualifies you.
- Most spins do not win. A winning spin gives free Pro plan time for the server you choose, from 1 to 6 hours, picked at random when you spin. The wheel's appearance does not reflect the chance of winning.
- Pro time starts straight away, stacks with other reward time, can't be moved to another server and has no cash value.
- We may change, pause or end the Daily Reward at any time, and void prizes won through errors, abuse or fraud.
Advent Calendar
- The Advent Calendar runs from 1 to 31 December each year, using UTC days. No purchase is necessary to take part.
- To take part you must be signed in to the dashboard and manage at least one Discord server that has TicketAssist AI added.
- Each Discord account can open one door per day, and each server can receive one prize per day. Using multiple accounts, automation or any other way of getting around these limits disqualifies all of your entries.
- Each door gives a randomly selected prize: free Pro plan time for the server you choose, from 1 hour to 30 days, or, rarely, a $15 cash prize. Prizes are chosen at random when the door is opened.
- Pro time starts straight away, stacks with other Advent Calendar time, can't be moved to another server and has no cash value.
- To claim a cash prize, contact us through our contact page with your prize code within 30 days of winning. We may ask you to verify that you own the winning Discord account, and we pay by a method we agree with you. Unclaimed cash prizes expire after 30 days.
- We may change, pause or end the Advent Calendar at any time, and void prizes won through errors, abuse or fraud.
- The Advent Calendar is void where prohibited.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to, or try to:
- break the law, Discord's Terms or Community Guidelines, or anyone's rights (including privacy and intellectual property);
- harass, threaten, abuse, defraud or harm anyone, or create or share hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content;
- deliberately misuse the AI, including trolling, spamming, wasting AI replies or trying to make it produce harmful content or ignore its instructions;
- collect personal information about others without a lawful basis, or use the Service for surveillance or profiling of individuals;
- send malware, or probe, scan, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell or sublicense the Service, or get around plan limits, rewards limits or payment;
- impersonate us, our staff or anyone else.
9. AI blacklist, suspension and termination
- People who misuse the AI receive two warnings and are then blocked from TicketAssist AI's AI in every server for 7 days. Repeated or serious misuse may lead to longer or permanent blocks.
- We may limit, suspend or end access to the Service for any user, account or server that breaks these Terms, puts others at risk, or exposes us to legal liability. Where reasonable we'll tell you why. If we end a paid plan without a breach by you, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.
- You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and cancelling any paid plan. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 3, 4, 10 to 14) survive termination.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on Discord, Anthropic, Stripe, vote listing sites and hosting providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for their availability or actions. Changes they make (for example to Discord's API or permissions) may change or limit the Service.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running, but it's provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet every need. We may add, change or remove features, limits and plans. If a change materially reduces a paid plan you've already paid for, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part of the current period.
12. Our liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. If you're a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from use of the Service, AI output, downtime or third-party services.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in that period and £50.
- To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and conditions not set out in these Terms.
13. Your responsibility to us
If you use the Service for a business or organisation, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) arising from third-party claims caused by your Content, your server's use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the law. This includes claims from your members about information shared in your server.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts and rely on your local mandatory consumer protections.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, give notice on the website or in our support server before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel any paid plan.
16. General
If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
