Get set up in a minute.

Add the bot, run /setup, and you're live.

Getting started

  1. Add TicketAssist AI to your server with the invite link.
  2. Run /setup in Discord, or open your server on the dashboard, and follow the steps.
  3. Open a test ticket from an account without a staff role and watch the bot reply.

/setup

/setup walks you through everything one step at a time, in a private message with Back and Next buttons. Each choice saves straight away, so you can stop and carry on later; running /setup again picks up where you left off.

  1. Ticket style: use TicketAssist AI's own tickets, or keep the ticket bot you already have.
  2. Ticket category: where ticket channels are. The bot can create a “Tickets” category for you.
  3. Staff roles: your support team. The AI never replies to them.
  4. Escalation (optional): the role to ping when the AI can't answer, and a staff channel for alerts.
  5. Knowledgebase: import your FAQ from a link, or write a first article.
  6. Ticket panel (built-in tickets only): pick a channel and the bot posts an Open a ticket button.
  7. Done: a summary, how to send a test ticket, and a button for the advanced settings.

The dashboard's Setup guide has the same steps and shares your progress, and the Overview shows a Get started checklist until your server is fully set up.

/settings

Use /settings to fine-tune the bot after setup. The settings message shows your current configuration and has buttons for each category.

  • AI: turn the AI on or off.
  • Tickets: your ticket category.
  • Mentions: whether members must mention the bot.
  • Staff Roles, Escalation Role, Management Channel: your team setup.
  • AI Logging: keep a log of the AI's activity.
  • AI Ticket Summaries: short summaries for staff.
  • Ticket → Knowledgebase: reuse good answers.
  • Intelligent Clarification: let the bot ask follow-up questions (up to 2).
  • Personality: how the bot sounds.
Some settings depend on your plan. See the plan comparison.

Free 7-day Pro trial

Open your server in the dashboard, go to Billing and press Start free trial.

  • Your server is upgraded to Pro immediately.
  • The 7-day timer starts at activation and can't be paused.
  • Each server can claim one free trial.
  • No payment method is required.
  • After it expires, your server returns to its highest active paid plan, or Free.

Dashboard

Everything in /settings and /knowledgebase can also be done on the dashboard, where you can pick channels and roles from a list, see your analytics, and manage your plan. Run /dashboard in your server for a direct link.

Incident Mode

When a ticket looks like a server-wide problem, such as a grief, TicketAssist AI places it into Incident Mode and shows the incident type, who activated it and the reason. The bot stays available while your support team investigates. Staff can also start one manually with /incident start. Incident Mode is available on Pro+.

Escalation

If the bot can't answer a question, it pings your Escalation Role in the ticket so a person can take over. Set the role in /setup or /settings.
